Horn installation complete

This afternoon I purchased some Stick-On-Cable Guides and cleaned up the installation. Also this afternoon FedEX showed up with my 7 day late package which contains the X9 chain for the Black Widow. Tomorrow I will be at the bike shop at 11:00 AM sharp. I want to get the chain installed and tested.  Below is a photo of the cable guides that I used to clean up the wire line, which eliminated the Ty-Wraps around the Cross "T".

Joel, have you much trouble will those stick on cable guides, I would think they would come off due to the weather, heat, dirt, rain, etc... Of course I have just used tie-wraps. Please keep me posted on them. What kind of horn switch do you have? I am thinking about mounting the horn as far forward as possible, I just do not know where to mount the switch. do you have an install guide you can share. Please share more detail pictures, drawing and ideas if you do not mind. With no local cycle buddies it is ruff... Andy

Joel, I too am wondering about the longevity of the cable guides. Where did you get them? If the glue fails can you replace the glue with double sided Velcro tape? And any photos of this horn?

The cable guides I have used before and they have been on my trike for over one year or maybe longer and have not come off. The trike is stored in the garage which is subject to very cold and extremely hot weather. Yes two sided tape can be used if they fall off. The guides were purchased in my LBS but they are available at http://www.universalcycles.com/shopping/product_details.php?id=200.com. Just do a Google search for Stick-On-hydraulic cable guides. The horn can be purchased from this company http://biketacdesigns.com/blaster.aspx there are also photos on the Trike forum at www.bentrideronline.com
