My Status and why no posts!

I have not had a ride update because I have not been out on the trike in a while. My doctor changed my medications and I have been in sort of a rut. One doctor changed my pain killer which takes a week for my body to adjust, my other doctor changed another medication that takes 14 days for me to adjust. So all in all I am screwed up to say the least. I am in a constant fog for the last few days with horrible headaches. Last night the headache was so bad I just shut the lights and went to sleep. I hope to be out on the trike in the next week or so, and then I will continue posting.

Short but needed ride

T oday I went out for a 10.07 mile run, and had an interesting and needed ride. I burnt 472 calories in 48 minutes. My max speed was 27.10 while my average speed was 12.41, a little below average for me. The weather was a warm 84 degrees with the wind out of the SSE at 9 mph. I didn't ride for a few days so my back was hurting real bad, so the ride helped a huge amount. W hat made this ride very interesting is that my Adeo GPS Trainer went completely haywire. Every second it was reading out my average speed in pace like a runner would need. I finally had to turn off the speakers and then turn it on to get my final result. I am sure that the great people at MotionLingo will stand behind their great product. I only have praise for them and the Adeo. A bove is a picture of one of the places I visited today.

Great riding weather!

M et two other riders this morning at 9:15 for a 21.19 mile tour of the four local towns. The ride was very leisurely and lasted 1Hr53Min. My average speed was a slow 11.21 mph and a max speed of 24.40 mph. I burnt 1026 calories during this slow ride. The weather for today was 80 degrees with a wind out of the ENE at 9 mph with some gusts that hit 14 mph. All in all a good ride with great riding friends.
