I set out at 9:00 AM so I can beat the heat, but that didn't work out to well. The temperature was 86 degrees with a wind from the SSW at 7-23 mph. I rode 10.26 miles with an average speed of 12.54 and a max speed of 23.30 mph. I burnt 497 calories in 00:49:08 minutes, and I must have lost 2 lbs in water weight.

Beautiful day for a ride

This morning I got ready to ride, and followed my usual pre ride check. Well my rear tire was flat. OK I know it sat for a few days as I didn't ride, but shouldn't be flat, but it was. So I pumped the tire up and rode my regular route. No problems at all. Great ride. Today I was not alone on the road as there were many cyclists out.
