Sandals & Ride Today
This morning after doing the usual Saturday morning cleaning I went out for a local ride. I was able to get in 12 miles before the wind picked up and the sun went behind the clouds. I was able to maintain 13 mph and sometimes 15 mph during the complete ride. Temperature was 74 degrees with wind at 5 mph out of the NW.
This afternoon I went to one of the local bike shops and purchased a pair of Shimano Sandals and a pair of Frog cleats. My mountain shoes are a bit to warm for me. Many people were recommending sandals so I thought I would give them a try. I wore them in the store and they were very comfortable. But with shoes only time will tell if they are good when riding.
