Thunder Horn has arrived!


I just brought in the mail and the package from Hong Kong has arrived in good shape. The horn has a 115 dB electronic horn which will get peoples attention. It was a pain to mount do to the way the nuts go on, but it took only a few minutes. Here is a photo of the horn mounted.

I was wondering, aside from great looks, how do you like your horn? You've had the horn for a while, and I was wondering if you could comment on the quality and functionality.

The ThunderHorn is real loud, even louder than the one called a MegaHorn, but my main complaint is that the button is real cheap and the wires pulled out. I had to solder them back in. The wires on both are only 10 or 12 inches long a little short for a recumbent. The MegaHorn is built a little better, so even thou it isn't as loud, by a few DB I will use it. They both do the job, but lately people don't listen to either.

Beautiful day for a ride

This morning I got ready to ride, and followed my usual pre ride check. Well my rear tire was flat. OK I know it sat for a few days as I didn't ride, but shouldn't be flat, but it was. So I pumped the tire up and rode my regular route. No problems at all. Great ride. Today I was not alone on the road as there were many cyclists out.
