Took Local streets do to severe wind!

When I woke this morning the temperature was a little cool, but the forecast called for warming by 11:00 AM.  Well at 10:45 the sky was dark and the winds started blowing.  I checked the forecast again and there was a severe wind warning.  I decided to stay local and get as many miles in as I could.  The wind gusts were 30+ mph and making things real hard. I pushed myself as hard as I could and made 6 miles before I called it a day.  This goofy weather is getting on my nerves.  I need, yes need to get as many miles in before it is to cold to ride.
