Fantastic ride but strong winds.

Today was the best ride I have had so far this season.  I rode a bit over 10 miles at an average speed of 12.4 mph.  I had to put a lot more effort into maintaining speed as there seemed to be a wind following me from road to road. The funny thing is that it always seemed to be in my face not behind me giving me a push. No matter what, if felt good to push myself. The new paved surfaces have created a little more of a challenge as they have a sticky surface that seems to hold the tires. Well at least they aren't full of holes as they were before. I came to this one hill which always seemed to be a problem, but in the last few rides it seemed easier as my legs are getting stronger.
