Hot and getting hotter!

This morning I headed out early to get a few miles in. I managed to do 15 miles and it felt like 100. The heat was so bad that I was going through my water supply very fast and loosing as much through perspiration. The temperature was 89 degrees with a hot wind of 8 MPH coming from the WSW. There were areas on the road's that the asphalt was wet and sticky and other places where the asphalt has buckled. Very unpleasant riding conditions, and the fumes from the cars and trucks added to the yuck factor. There were a few places where a car or truck stopped and there exhaust was almost in my face. I hope this hot spell doesn't last to much longer.
